your asking what the difference is between
cat5e and cat5e plus is that correct ?
if so I believe the + is just a marketing gimmick I'm not aware of a difference but maybe someone else can shed some light on it
I was told that regular 5e tests to 100MHz, while 5e+ tests to 350. I don't know how much truth there is to that.
I have never heard about CAT5E+. There is a CAT6 and a CAT6+ though.
Sam
the leviton keystone jacks I use say cat5e+ (or maybe 5e+ I'll have to look )
Ed has it--100mhz vs 350mhz. Some have it designated as "little e" and "big E"---Cat5e and Cat5E.
We use Cat5E for all of our networking. It's a bit more expensive than Cat5e. It may be just marketing---but it makes me feel better--so we'll stick with it.
