I ran into a 3m block that was a hand off for verizon t1 circuit. It was labeled on the side "7010-50". It looks like a krone block. I tried a 110, krone & box tools, but they didn't work. I ended using a tweaker to push the cross connect in and snipping the excess. Thanks for the help!
Verizon has been using krone blocks particularly in FIOS installs . I usually remove them and the sloppy wiring the Verizon tech often does to feed them and run it to a 66 block .
I do carry a krone tool (cheap online) and a krone blade for my punch down tool for use when needed
I have a client that used Krone blocks, and had the actual Krone tool. I found that tool worked much better than the Krone blade I had for the D814 punch tool.
