i got a call from a guy with an esi. it died and he got another one on the internet. wants me to install it. i am going to have to program it and im not familiar with it. seems i remember it was the same as atlas system. his is esi50. my program guide sayss it is for ksx 32i, 64, and 128. will this manual work for an esi system. thanks, dave

John is correct. The ESI programming is unique to ESI. I would HIGHLY recommend that you contact one of the people on this site or an ESI dealer in your area to do the programming. It's not that it's too difficult, but there are little things that are not apparent in the programming manual that need to be done for the system to work smoothly. If you have been to ESI training, then it comes easy. If not, you will be asking a lot of questions and the customer will be experiencing nagging problems all because of some simple programming.

Also, a system from the internet, may or may not be defaulted which means you may or may not have the installer's password. There are licensing issues that may need to be addressed as well.

See if it is a 50 or a 50L too. The L is the "light" version and doesn't do PRI, ACD or much in the way of VOIP. If you have a 50 and any of those in use you will definitely want some backup.
