Working on an older IVX DP1 phone. Was testing out a number of headsets (could get none to work), the phone handset is failing to trigger a line pickup/doesn't work.

All other phone functions working properly.

P/H 3-3 is (re)set to disable
P/H 3-5 is set to disable

any ideas on how to get the extension to recognize the handset again?
What exactly happens? Does it work on speaker phone? Do you have intercom dial tone but can't dial out?

Has it worked in the past?

thanks for the reply. The phone/extension worked perfectly before I started trying headsets. the only programing changes I made were to P/H 3-3 (enable headset, now set to disable)

All functions of the phone/extension work normally. I can answer calls on speakerphone, park, transfer, etc.

Except for the handset. No sound at all, no pickup of incoming calls, nada.

I first swapped out the handset and cord, then I swapped out the whole unit. Same non-response from the handset.

Did you reboot it? If not try that.
