I Figured I'd mention this.
Shootin the poop with Tom the other day and he mentioned not many are taking advantage of his SEO services, he was asking me what the hell's wrong with these people, they have a business with a web site and don't want to be found by new customers? and after I thought about it I had the same question. Why would you not jump all over this?
I was in the same boat as most of you guys. I had a site but no one was finding me or using it. I asked Tom for help and in a short time (a month or 2)
I was on page 1 and near the top if not in position #1.
I've been using Tom's Search Engine tips ever since. I don't know how he figured it out and I don't want to but I know he's been into search engines for 10 years or better
and he really understands what has to be done. I get very confused about some of it well most of it and I'm glad he knows what he's doing cause I don't know anyone else who even remotely knows what he does about ranking in the search engines.

Now if you do the following search terms in Google.
Salt Lake City phone systems
Phone wiring Salt Lake City
Telephone wiring Salt Lake City
Telephone system installation, Provo

You'll see my site tel-programmers comes up in the first few results. That's just a few of the keyword phrases he's helped me out with,
I come up on a lot more from using Toms information/tips and I've gotten a lot of business I'd never got without it. I would really advise you taking advantage of his services before that ship sails and he's not available to help out us little guys anymore. I don't doubt some big sites will find him and scarf him up and his time will then become limited. If you check around you'll see his pricing is, how do I say it cheap, no very inexpensive and I doubt that won't last.
Anyway here's my question to you guys. Why aren't more of you guys checking this service out? Wake up my friends.

No answers huh? Now I'm wondering what the hell is wrong with you other owners that have websites?
Just check out Toms SEO expertise and did a search for "Search Engine Help" I remember him telling me he built that site 2 weeks ago Search Engine Help (the one in his signature) and it's already coming up on page #1 in position # 7 (when I did the search today) and that's out of About 288,000,000 results for the search term Search Engine Help and that's up against all the so called SEO specialist listed in the 288,000,000 results. I don't know about you but I think that's amazing, a brand new site ranking that well that fast. That says he's not talkin out his ass when he says he can help. Your not going to get a better deal anywhere on the net. I've said my peace, if you don't take advantage of it you need more than SEO help. laugh

Thanks Russ for checkin me out...I had no idea that I was even going to show up under the key word " search engine help " Hell I'm impressed myself, out of 464 million results I grabbed slot #7 ( and in a very shot time frame) and like you said these are results from so called SEO experts. Which tells me how many SEO experts there really are. I haven't been watching the SEO market for a long time. I only used it for my own purposes, I guess I did retained what I've learned the last 10 years or so.

But as far as your question.

Why would you not jump all over this?
I don't know either..it really doesn't make any sense. Maybe no one is seeing this information because it tucked in this thread and no ones paying any attention to it.

Help me out guys...Why?

I'm interested! SEO has been a priority for me since I struck out on my own almost 2 years ago - and it has paid off. However, I must strike a balance between my work on our website and my other duties so I can't be quite as proactive as I'd like. Still, I appreciate your information and will be incorporating more and more of your suggestions as time goes on.

Bill I know your interested smile and I'd say your over half way there...just follow the tips in the guide and ask me any questions you have if you don't quite understand. :thumb:

The question I had "Why aren't more jumping on this" was more for the guys here that aren't on page #1 or even showing up for the keywords that will get them more business? It just doesn't make sense to me. One job would pay for something like this. And I have to say I've seen more website from the members and mods here that aren't doing anything for em...absolutely nothing.
Russ just started working on additional cities in his area and he's already coming up for service in those areas (like "phone wiring, Ogden" or Provo)..It only takes a week or 2 for the results to start showing up.

Yes, I'm seeing them starting to pop up but the bigger picture is that the phone is ringing as well from people in those areas wanting to schedule work.

Tom is on vacation for about a week. He may not check the board during that time. When he gets back he'll probably contact you.

Google updated it's page rank today.
Google only updates their PR bar 3 or 4 times a year.
