I have two different Iwatsu IP applications that have problems. One is a Adix with 8.13 software that has 1 Ipsub card running 8 ipktd's across a T-1 since they were installed there has been a bad audio clipping and distortion problem. The 2nd is a ip network application,i have an ECS with 1.5 software and a ADIX with 8.13 they are connected with an IPNET card across a T-1. They have had echo and distortion problems also. I have followed Iwatsu's recommendations to fix these problems and there has been some small improvement but the audio quality is still bad. The software in all the ip cards has been upgraded to the latest on there website. Any suggestions. TNTJeff

Distortion and choppiness is usually caused by packet loss, so a good network sweep to determine any bottle necks is probably in order.

Echo is usually most apparent when using POTS lines, so insert the 3db pad on any POTS trunks you have in use and see if that doesn't help things a bit.
