I have an ECS that has backup batteries connected and there is a 24VDC charger connected to the batteries. My question is, does the IX-PWSE charge the batteries? I looked through the ECS manual, but could not determine if this power supply charges or not.

The batteries are charged by the power supply when the system is powered up during normal operation.
