There seems to be a lot of static on our lines using the Medley. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Have also had complaints about the speakerphone. Any suggestions?

We use a Medley and are very happy with it. We have no problems with static on the lines.
I have never found a speakerphone where I liked the voice quality. The only exception to this is in external speakerphone setups, like Polycom units.
The only thing I will ever use the speakerphone function for is listening to the phone when I am on hold for a long period of time.
Also, the speakerphones in the M-64 phones, those most often used on the Medley, are half-duplex, not full duplex. The speakerphone can only transmit one way at a time, much like a walkie talkie. If there is much background noise or if the user of the speakerphone is talking, the incoming voice will be cut off.
We here constant complaints from customers regarding their speakerphone being "broken" because thay are trying to use it with a loud radio or machinery nearby.
It is just the way it is designed to function.

Try reseting system.

Do you have a battery backup on system?
The Medley hates power problems and it is recomended to have a battery backup.

Good Luck!!
