The battery failed on one of our IDS systems. It lost its VMS and VMI options. I contacted Mitel and received a program called Secure.exe and VMI-VMS.OPT file. It didn't come with instructions. Connecting, choosing restore, hitting send and choosing the file didn't work.
I logged on with level 10 access. I'm not sure what to try next.
Thanks
It's an IDS 108, Eclipse 2.5.0
Not sure never seen that file before. Can you send me the file so I can take a look?
That file is a 16 bit EXE. I had to run it in a VM running Win XP.
not sure exactly what they sent you. There is a modem initialization file.I'll have to try it on an older windows version
Loaded it up on an older PC running XP and ran it in a command prompt. It does load up.I have to wonder if it is meant to be loaded through a modem? That's how I would think that Executone /Mitel would have done it. There are a couple of guys on the board here who may be able to help you out.Look up jjmaly
all you have to do is Restore the VMI-VMS.OPT file. don't even need level 10...
