Hello! I'm wondering if an analog to VOIP type device exists... I would like to take an analog extension out of our Toshiba CTX and convert it to VOIP so I could attach an inexpensive IP phone on the other end.

Thanks!
Allan

Multitech's Multivoip solutions work pretty good.

You might find what you're looking for at Valcom. Depending on what you want to hook up the VIP-811(fxs) & the VIP 821(fxo) might do the trick. If you're unsure, Valcoms sales & tech support are very good.

If you are trying to extend the extension, over the net, to another location. You could use an FXO device, like the Linksys SPA3102 and any FXS device (like a SPA1001 or 2102) at the set end. Of course you'd have to set them up to establish an IP connection to each other. Both ends are designed to work with a SIP server but can be made to do what you want with some patience.
