Looking for the specs of the Verizon RJ21X "Shark" device. Looking for an image, dimensions, weight, and mounting guidlines.

I'm not familiar with an "RJ21X Shark". Could the device be known by some other name

Thanks for providing the link, jknichols. :thumb:

I sent a message to Bryan (CnGRacin) to see if he can chime in with any info or personal guidance (other than what's provided on Verilink's XSP-100 Shark page.)

Hi Maurice,

The “Verizon RJ21X” should be nothing more than a 25 pair upright 66 block with a amphanol (sp?) shocked whip that would connect to the Shark (an Integrated Access Device and low-end router) to allow for the voice and/or data channels to be broken out.

Here’s the link to Verilink’s (formerly Xel Communications) for their XSP 100 Series Sharks.

Folowing this link, SHOULD have the info you’re looking for on the “Shark” but if not, please feel free to PM me your e-mail address. I have an electronic copy XSP-100 Shark’s installation guide. Unfortunately it’s in PDF format so that means two things…. It’s a BIG arse file and two it won’t cut –n- paste worth a crap. ... but we'll see how this works! wink

Here’s an attempt to see how the physical specs “cut –n- paste:”

It has six 4" wide slots for two WAN modules, two LAN modules, a router
