Let me know if you know anywhere good.

A lot depends on what kind of signs you want. A good place to start is a printing company that can print what you want and plasticize them in someway. Then all you have to do is to attach them to the building, either by themselves or put them in some sort of a frame. I would secure them decently, as kids etc, like to steal them and put them in their rooms. You can have a picture of a camera or the logo of your company on the sign if you want.

From past experience, most phone guys don't do too good of a job at this---perhaps a maint man of some sort can help you. That's what we did for some firestations that we put emergency phones outside for them. They eventually got signs and one of the guys made some nice frames for the signs and bolted them onto the side of the building.

Another thing you can do is to get someone to get into Word and print out what you want on some waterproof stickers or labels. Print shops can do this for you.

Thanks JW! I was thinking the same way about a printing company. I am waiting the client to call me back as to what he wants. I know i originally talked to them a while back but they didn't want to do anything at that time. But they were thinking of stickers in the windows but he left me a message about signs today. Waiting to hear fro him. Thanks for the info.

And you would tell the 'perps' that they are being observed because?

you want to deter them , you would rather they not break in , hold up or vandalize the place and go elsewhere

the ones I bought where for a customer to stick around a construction site ....there where no cameras

I've gotten them from the alarm suppliers. They should have them in stock.

Not sure about other places in Canada or the US, but here in Manitoba its the law. It falls under the personal privacy protection statutes.

Every place that you go into that has a camera has a sign or sticker at every door saying that you are being recorded. Only exceptions are public areas like malls and office common hallways.

Some signs go into detail saying what the images would be used for, others don't.

I always thought this was a good deterrent
