Hi,

I want to rig something up like a tkm-6 switch to turn off or on ringing on certain lines. I will be a tkm-6 switch for each line that I want to control. In my case it would be lines 1,2 and 3. Line 4 would be left on so does not need to be modified. .

Here is my question. Would I remove one wire from the Audible signal B1 and R1 or would I want to do this on Common Audible Control?

Thanks Brian

Common Audible is the R1 lead - as I recall. Either way should do it.

There's your answer: R1 is the actual ring voltage and B1 is the ground. As Sam said, either will do, but I'd lean toward cutting off the R1 lead since you can get a B1 (ground) anywhere inside of a set. The B1 terminal in the KSU is really more of a convenience so that there's a place to terminate the other half of the ringer pair.
