Thanks... Sounds like the paid memberships did not work out..

I believe it's wasn't that as much as the new owners of this Forum decided to do away with subscription membership.
Philosophy more than financial. However, that is just a personal opinion and not based in reality.

Speaking of which:

I'd like to suggest a method for voluntary contributions to the board. I know I may owe something something to Toner for a lead that may actually work :-)

That could be done with some simple changes.
By adding a paypal donate link in a side island or anywhere.

Of course it is up to Bill now for those decisions.
