I'm installing a Sprint Protege CTX KSU (Mat Code:431700) and I need the programming software. Local support doesn't exist for this product.
Where can I buy/download this software?
My unit's s/w version is S5.F04
TIA.
BTW, I am an installer, not an end-user.
dukeplc - I did receive your PM's. I hope Dean hooked you up with what you need because I was going to send you to him anyway.
He collects that old junk. Just kidding, Dean's a great help.
haha. Thanks 6string. The Professor hooked me up. *S*
Hey Prof, did you get my last email? That s/w doesn't seem to work. I tested with different OS and cable combos. Also, I sent some pics of my EEPROMs so you can see the revs.
I will use Send Space. No problems with EXE files.
Hey Prof, do you still have the software link for the Sprint Protege CTX software, gtot one I need to program and its no longer supported.
Thnks in advance.

I've got (mostly) the same problem. I have some old floppy disks with various versions of the protege rmp software, but for whatever reason windows keeps telling me that the install application isn't a valid win32 application.
Either way, if I could get a copy of the software I'd be appreciative.
It may be the computer itself. Example: the RMP works with Windows 98 Home, but not Windows 98 Pro.
If you can, dig out an old laptop that can "Shell out to DOS" and you might have better luck.
I was hoping I could get it working on a Win 7 machine to be honest. Unfortunately the Windows '95 laptop I normally used for some of our customers on older systems was stolen, so I had to find a replacement. I guess I'll look into getting a copy of an older version of windows.'
Thank you for the reply.
It's time to post new requests rather than add to OLD
