I pretty much knew this would be coming. Too bad for the employees but they should be able to bounce back after having worked in the wireless/cell business since the other carriers around these parts are doing well.
It seems that many Sprint employees are suffering since the Nextel accquisition. Is there any other news out there that discusses this?
My mom and step da work at Sprint in KC. Sprints stability even before the addition of NExtel was shaky at best. They would terminate his position only to hire him on as an outside consultant, then re-hire him back.
It seems everyones jobs are at risk every 6 months...
I read somewhere they had 330,000 disconects in either the last half or quarter of 2006.
