I guess that Verizon is going to put AOL's Email systems to good use.
I wonder how this will effect those previous Verizon customers that are now with Frontier and still have the @verizon.net email addresses.
I think that it depends upon any agreement between Verizon and Frontier. I'm surprised that the Frontier customers' Email accounts haven't been migrated over to Frontier accounts as of yet.
LOL on crack. Frontier pimped out their ISP provided email to Yahoo years ago. Customers may still have a frontier.com addy, but it all goes through the Hoo, as the polluted headers reveal.

V is [supposedly] buying Y. It just goes round and round... All bow before Compu-Global-Hyper-Mega-Net!!!

The merged entities are rumored to be called "Oath." That sounds strangely similar to "OAuth," the [flawed] email login authentication system that Hoo was forcing on all [Frontier customers included], but now seems to backing off from.

My head is already spinning, and it's not just the crack this time...
