I have an Axxess that when users have rec calls and are currently speaking to a customer the call drops and the receptionist ends up with the call . We have swapped cards, phones and replaced jack and cable to no avail . The calls arrive on a PRI . :p

Where are the calls being recorded to? i.e. is it a voicemail server at the same site or is this one node on a network where the voicemail is located elsewhere?

Could these be calls that are conferenced?

Thanks for the reply . The calls are not being recorded the ext (1020 ) is on a call and the call drops from his phone at that time the receptionist ends up with the call and has to xfer back to 1020 .

What do you want it to do, camp longer, fwd to VMS, fwd to a group? That will help determine the right fix for your needs

Probably these are calls that are conferenced or ext 1020 is receiving the call as the destination of an Announcement or Overflow point in a hunt group. So:

Go to System\Timers and Limits and be sure the 'Unspervised CO' Timer is maxed out.

Also go to System\Devices and Feature Codes\Hunt Groups. Check all hunt groups and see if any of them have ext 1020 as an Announcement or Overflow destination. If so, remove this entry.
