Trying to setup our first FaxFinder 403 for use with a Mitel 5000. Getting the pieces in place slowly. Pretty sure the Mitel is programmed correctly, now just wrestling with the FaxFinder.

Any suggestions for configuring the routing definition. We have DTMF set for the routing. Have 7 digit DID's coming on a ISDN-PRI and routing to 4 digit phantoms.

Thanks.

You must be licensed for Analog VM Hunt Groups. So:

1. Create a hunt group w\ yer FF ports in it, flag it for Analog VM Hunt Group.
2. Set Camp-Ons Allowed to 'No'.
3. Create a System Forwarding path with that hunt group as the first Destination. System\Endpoint-related Info\System Forwarding Paths.
4. Add that path to yer phantoms and flag them for 'Immediate' and all call types.

If you have yer DID's pointed at the phantoms then you should be able to call a DID and it should route to the FF and send it's extension number after the FF answers. So yer Routing definition will be the extension of the phantom.

Thanks!
That helps alot. Hope to get out there today and give it a go. We have the Analog VM license, so we should be looking good.

Thanks for the help, superfoneguy! Works like a champ. Had FF set for 7 digits and our phantoms on the 5000 were only 4, so once that was fixed, all is good. Appreciate the assistance a great deal.
