I have a hunt group 2411 setup with an extension list p0015 which contains 2 extensions 1171 and 1181.
CRT for DID points to hunt group. No voicemail picks up when the user is not at desk. Where am I missing programming?
Hunt group calls won't follow the station's forward path.
If you want calls to route to voice mail, you'll have to program the hunt group recall destination.
Ok I created a call routing announcement, digit translation set to go to voice mailbox 1181. Everything works now but I get this generic message before the actual voicemail
Hello you have reached the inter-tel voice processing system.
Then voicemial plays. How do I eliminate that generic message?
Make sure there are no Day or Night greetings in the CRA you created.
Yep there was one in the night greeting and once removed it worked. Thanks a lot to both you guys. I've learned a lot from you two about this system.
