Customer has a CPC running 8.224 and a Windows 2000 VM server. VM time has been reset to the current time three times in the last two weeks - setting time on VM PC in the windows software. It seems to roll back to running about an hour slow and than hold there. Anyone had a similar issue? Suggestions would be appreciated. (We thought of setting the time ahead an hour to have it eventually sync up - but decided the customer would be less than impressed!)

I dont have an answer for you off the top of my head. Im gonna ask the old timer here once he gets back from vacation if he ever had that happen to him. Is the time shown on the PC jumping back an hour or just the time in the avdap and db programming?

I see you are from Eau Claire, are you the new Inter-tel vendor out there? We heard someone was moving in on that side of the state. If you are then I think there are only 3 of us in WI. You, us, and a vendor in Milwaukee.

It is the PC that seems to be dropping the time.
I'm with TSI. We have been an Inter-tel dealer just about forever. No idea who the new folks are. Inter-tel web site shows six dealers in WI, but no one new. Could be on the Minnesota side of the creek.

If the computer is losing the time, then thats a win2k issue, i would think. Never heard of it happening, just guessing here, but check the time-zone that your pc thinks its in. Is it connected to a network?

Just a guess. Turn off windows time manager in the services panel. See if the problem stops....
