We have an older Axxess system with 4 pots trunks and an EVMC. All calls go to a Hunt Group with a member list that has an extension list and then a CRA. When calls get to the CRA, intermittently we get "6 is an invalid selection" message. That digit is not in use. So far we have changed the LSC card, Rebuild the CRA, replaced the audio card on the EVMC, had a different person record the message that the callers hear. The trunks are plain old pots lines with no discernable static, popping, etc.. The only thing I can think if is to change the Hybrid balance at this point. Can anyone think of anything we have missed?

Thanks

You should have yer Hybrid Balance setting set to 'short' when using analog CO's and an EVMC. Also you could try adjusting the VM twist settings. Here is a paste from an Inter-Tel knowledge base article:

The recommended settings to make the AA/VM less sensitive than default would be:
Low to High Play, Low to High Idle, High to Low Play, High to Low Idle
8.2 6.7 6.7 4.3

This is adjusted under Voice Processor\Timers and Limits\DTMF Detection Info.

Also the EVMC was never a good product. You should seriously consider a 5000 upgrade. Those EVMC's can't go away quick enough.
