My question concerns an Inter-Tel 2030 CPC. I'm trying to connect to it using my network but when I start the Session Manager and look for an attached system, I find no IP's. Can someone point me in the direction of what I may need to do. My network consists of a DHCP server so I'm hoping this system will take an address from that. Any help would be much appreciated.

P.S. I'm kinda new to this stuff....

Well, you need to get the IP address. You may be able to get it from the company that installed it. You can connect to the system serially w/ a standard reversing 4-pin line cord and a special RJ-45 to 9 pin adapter. Using this method, you could connect to the system and get the IP address under System\Devices and Feature Codes\IP Ports\CPC Port.

Might anyone know the pinout on the RJ45 to 9 Pin adapter?
