Hello everyone,

We've seem to sell off a small satellite office and I need to remove the node from here and my Texas location. Could anyone tell me the steps to removing a node from the Axxess system 8.200. I would like to take care of this myself instead of calling for service.

Thanks,
Geo

How are you connected to Texas?

We have a T1 connection!

I guess I should be more specific. Is it a point to point T1 using T1 cards or point to point T1 using IP cards?

Hi Geo,
I had to do the same thing recently and what I was told from Inter-tel is that the node itself doesn't every really need to go away. When you look at Session Manager it can be reused. What I did was delete the extensions on the DKSC or IPRC, then 'export' all of those changes to all remaining remote nodes (goto Operations, then Export/Import Devices) that will care about where those extension are or if they exist. After this, you can pop out that IPRC and redesignate it to another cabinet. smile
Have a good one.

Peter
