When calling the back door number to auto attendant, the first call is answered correctly and works fine. If second call rings in while the first call is still in progress, the second caller hears dead air. They don't hear the greeting and can't dial any digits. Any ideas????

Sorry but, what does your topic EM mean? What brand or model phone system are you talking about? Is your backdoor number just a single CO line or does it have a Hunt line that it goes to if busy?

Enterprise Messaging; I would check your timeslot group programming first and obviously make certain that your AIC cable is properly seated. Also check your EM FCU to make sure that the boards you have are being properly detected. If that all looks good, pop the cover off the server and make sure that the cards are seated properly.

Thanks for the replies. I had the customer stop the EM application and reboot the server. So far everything seems to be working correctly. It almost seems as though one or more of the ports were locked up, but I'm not sure why that would happen???
