Hello all,

I will admit to being a newbie. We bought a Inter-Tel system and phones at an auction for real cheap and I am just trying to identify what we got.

The system has an LSC card which someone wrote "w/ DAC" on. Does anyone have any idea what it is for and what the DAC stands for? I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

LSC is loop start card, and the DAC is most likely a DAG standing for daughter card, adds 4 more lines, so that card with daughter board will hold 8 pots lines.

One other thing....This system has 2 SLA boxes with it. What are these used for?

SLAs are used to convert a single digital port into two analog ports/OPX OR
used to interface a 4 wire DID trunk to the system.

Could that be used for a analog cordless phone?
