I have a remote user in the UK and his DSL modem is not located in his home office. So in turn he work on his computer wirelessly. He wanted to see if he could hook his 8660 VOIP phone into his computer. Now I can't seem to find any documentation anywhere that this is possible. What EXACTLY is the PC port on the bottom of the phone do. Thanks alot for any help.

That port is a 10/100 switchport. It is used to connect a PC to the phone for Ethernet connectivity. It is not designed to do what you are trying to do and it unfortunately would not work. Your PC is not an Ethernet switch thus you could not try to use the phone through the wireless on the PC by plugging the PC into the phone.

To clarify slightly, its designed such that you
have one ethernet feed into the office. Since
adding the IP phone would require two ethernet feeds, the switch on the phone is designed to let
the computer and the phone both plug into the single ethernet feed into the office, saving having to buy a small switch to do the same thing.

One way to do what you want is to buy a WiFi Bridge. The don't necessarily call them that though. You might find a Wireless Game Adapter. What it does is produce an ethernet port from a wireless connection. Plug ethernet from it to the phone, configure the bridge appropriately, and you'd be set.
