I have an AXXESS v8.224 system.

Is there anyway to take a single analog line of a SLC card and
make it into a "regular" pots line?

Ie. it can't dial any other extension or features, and when you pick it up, it seizes an outbound trunk, and doesn't need the outside access code (8) to dialout.

Inbound DID is easy enough, but I want it to also seize the outbound trunk automatically. I don't have any analog trunks
coming in that I could tap off of.

I know I could put something ahead of the system (ie. Atlas 550,
since I'm doing PRI), but trying to stay away from that.

Thanks

I know that it can be done, I just don't remember specifically where. I think it was a matter of being creative with ARS assignments and digit manipulation.

If I get a chance I'll fire up an 8.2 DB & poke around.

Look up "House Phone" in your manual. You can program it so that when it goes off hook it dials a specific extension. They're usually used to call the operator or front desk, but you can just have it set up to grab an outgoing trunk. We commonly have to do that for fax machines so that when go off hook they get an oustide line.
