Anyone know how long the x16 warranty is?

Dave,

Per X-Blue Courtney, there is a three year warranty on all equipment (KSU & Sets) from the date of installation except wireless sets ! . This is one year.

At the time of installation you will need to notate the model and serial numbers of all equipment installed and have a copy of this information with the installation date to accompany the equipment when an RMA is issued for warranty repair.

Now this allows you to stock equipment without worrying about the warranty clock ticking while it is on your shelf.

Any other information is available on the website, www.xbluenetworks.com .

Thanks Ken for the input. When you said 'This is one year' do you mean that the 16 only holds a 1 year warranty.

Pretty sure he means the cordless phone that goes on the 45 and 100.

Yeah, your probrably right. I just saw on one of those darn online reseller sites that it comes with a 3 yr manufacturer warranty.

The wireless sets (their term) have only one year warranty while all the KSUs and proprietary sets all have a three year warranty.

Check their website or call their toll free number. Local is (913) 599-2583.

Hope this helps.

Matt:

They should not be listed on reseller sites. If they are, then X-Blue wants to know about it. They claim to have a strict policy against sales via Internet web sites.

These are great systems in this economy. Do about 5 a month. It keeps us busy.

I did a search for xblue x16 on Google and found plenty of sites (15 pages worth) including sams club selling the x16.

Do they not allow certain online sites or all. If they dont allow any online sites then it looks like they have some work to go.

The product looks interesting, but I dont want to compete with 15 pages of sellers on google competing against me.

skiguy09, you ought to contact Ernie Meadows at X-Blue and get a private label so you don't compete with Sams' Club and the other 15 pages.

Start selling "skiguy 16" telephone systems.

All kidding aside, give Ernie a call....he can fix you up.

I might just do that....if they kept the VOIP option. I suppose I could go straight to TECOM.

Still, it seems like they say one thing (no internet sales), and do quite another (lots of internet sales).

Maybe they should distribute themselves. Then they dont have to worry about a distributor selling to companies that turn around and sell online to end users.

Im curious, who is this distributor that starts with the letter "k"? (per another thread) Please PM me.

Straight to TECOM? How many thousands of these systems are you planning to sell there, Skiguy09?

I don't think that the private labeling plan is in effect for the X16 product. It is only for the phones themselves and for the ones that work on the 45P and 100.

Ed is correct, private lable is not for the X-16.
