CID is working except that:
1) I don't receive incoming phone number, even though it has been set up in 05-13-05 for both name & number

2) I also can't review the number if I review the log, I just can get the name, time etc


I assume these are related to something I've missed

05-13-03 is set to 2 to give me 26 blocks of 20 numbers

05-13-05 set to 5 for CID name and number

83-STN-01 assign block numbers 01 & 2
83-STN-02 assigned Block 3
83-STN-19 assigned Block 4 (CordLess)
83-STN-20 assigned Block 5 (Fax)

07-GRP-01 assign CID key = FN:32 (Default)

84-01-01 assigned area code

CID is working 100% on my Nortel CICS

Try setting 05-13-03 to 0 for number only.

Thanks for working with us Dave! After decoding the caller id info. we can see that bell Canada or the carrier is sending us the code for CALLED Number followed by the actual calling number. Because we disregard the called number code in the cid format we do not show the number.

We are in the process of looking into ways to set something in programming to compensate for this.

No Problem...The client's not complaining, just my wife as it's set up on the freezer. laugh
