Anyone had any success connecting a PolyCom IP4000 to an Allworx system?

Joe,

I tend to confuse PolyCom with Poly-O. I have connected the Grandstream IP phones to the Allworx system. Are you trying to do this locally or remotely?

I have connected Polycom's to Asterisk (Yay!), Televantage, Sip Dial-Tone Providers, and even an NEC (just did the polycom provisioning part). I'd say that it should work with Allworx as long as allworx works with a "Generic" sip device.

You have the option of using a regular Polycom, or my prefered Konftel, on the analog ports that are built into the system. If you are using a SIP phone, pretty much any generic SIP phone will work, just use the "Generic SIP" when you are setting up the extension. Just be aware that you will NOT get all of the great Allworx features with a generic SIP phone.
