Hi-
My partner system has
206e R4.1
206 R2.0
Processor R2.0
While the light on the 206 has been out for a while (and it took my intercom with it) The 206e has been on a slow flash and the phones have been dead. I have just replaced the 206e and the new module's light is on... but my phones are still dead!
Any thoughts?
Thank you. Gordon

turn off the power take out the 206 in slot 2 repower and see what comes back
there are techs in salt lake that can bale you out . if it needs a tech on site
Try removing the 206E module with the system powered off and disconnected from the AC. Power system back on with only 206 processor and check for steady green led on processor module and check for intercom dialtone at one or more of the extension jacks. If you have no dialtone it is the processor module. If you have dialtone power system down again and replace 206E module, power up system check for steady green led on both modules. If no dialtone now the problem is in the 206E expansion module. Be sure system is powered down and disconnected from AC before removing or replacing any modules. I have seen new modules that are defective.
Hello-
Thank you both for your help.. The light to the processor module in now off...
I followed both of your instructions and haven't had any luck.. is it safe to assume that I need a processor?
Thank you, I have contacted emailed a tech our here in Salt Lake.
Gordon
I also posted bove...
Come to think of it, could it be the battery in the processor? How can I find that out?
If not, am I better to go with Processor r4 instead of r2?
Thanks. Gordon

Any time my friend, I try to keep old and new in stock for local customers, you just never know when you need them.
Was the processor shot or something else?
yes the processor was shot.
