I am installing a r3 magix and the customer wants to change the access number for pool 890. so that when they push 9 they get pool 70 and if they push 7 they get pool 890. am i just blind all i have found so far is just the general ars access code.
Thanks
Jeff

9 is the access to the pools 70-890-891 etc. You can renumber the pools and give access to the pools. Why do they want to do this instead of use the ars as it works very well?

Be aware that all of the unused extensions are numbered in the 7100 range, and the adjuncts are in the 7300 range. You're going to need to renumber everything that starts with a "7" to some other range before you can change the pool dial-out code to "7"

Why not just assign a pool button to the phones for those two lines?

Renumber the pool 890 to 7 after you renumber anything else using 7 as a leading digit. Then give the extensions access to the pool with the dialcd access from the Extension programming menu.
