I am looking to put my hands on the correct version of SPM. I bought a new laptop and apparently the disc i bought from the distributor was limited to one installation since it won't install again - is this right?? Customer has a R2.1 Legend that lost all programming and has a disc with a couple of older (but fairly recent in terms of programming changes) backups. I know there are some issues with compatibility of spm release and legend release. I am looking to figure out what version i need, and hopefully put my hands on a copy of it tonight if possible. In lieu of or in addition to that would anyone be able to offer phone / dial in support on a billable basis tomorrow morning. Thanks.
I have a copy of Win Span, for help Call Jeff 303-668-5150 he's with Spectrum Communications. He might be able to help you.

the software isn't something that can be emailed.
SPM is NOT a single installation software. If you are having issues installing it from an original CD, there is something else going on.

Each release of WinSPM can only convert an older translation database to a certain release level, and sometimes the current version of WinSPM to TOO far advanced, to take a database and covert it, but to a somewhat older revision.

Whatever release you have on CD can be loaded, and then the incrememntal patches can be downloaded from the Avaya support site to get all the way to R9.

Can you restore from the PC Card instead of a downloaded database??
If I remember correctly, the 2.1 dosen't have a back up card, I think they started with the r3
