I have a T1 24 channels where channel 6 and 23 have intermittent noise instead of dial tone. Noise has a digital type generated pattern in it. Happens once every 10-15 off hooks and occasionally when line rings and is answered. Suspected T1 card but new one still did it. Is the control card where the digital signal from T1 is converted to analog dial tone?

Messed up on card number! 100 DCD for the T1. SBC lied about design of ckt. T1 was broken out on D4 b/4 getting to Central Office Switch so I had an OE that SBC said was good that wasn't. Only took Three days to get there after proving my equipment was not the problem. Ended up with 2 defective OE's in the Central office.
