Hey each --

I have acquired a used Avaya Definity G3 switch, dual cabinets. It obviously came with no passwords or licensing, so I'm looking into the cost of relicensing the software for use by my company -- to see whether or not to scrap it for parts or to put it into good use.

Anyone have a contact or can help me with such a venture?

Its both the switch and the Audix module.

Thanks,
R

The only thing you have is parts. To be completly honest with you you are better off selling the hardware you have and repurchasing a new switch. As relicensing is expensive and you end up with an old switch with old software then if you upgrade to the latest software, you've spent more than what it cost to buy new. If you want to go the relicense route, you need to contact an Avaya Business parter or Avaya directly as they are the only ones that can help you.

This link will help you find a local business partner in your area.
