Power outage caused a partner ACS v. 3.0 to lose all its programming. (No battery backup frown )
Before the phone system was setup not to ring to any extension during the day except the secretaries desk. In night service mode, all the extensions should be able to ring. Went by the manual, setup all the extensions for outgoing access only on the lines during daymode. Put all the extensions in the Night service group and programmed the Night service button. When in night mode the phones are still not ringing and not allowed incoming access to incoming calls. Just wondering if theres anything I'm missing?

EDIT: Found the problem. Do not restrict the line access with #302. Go through Central Telephone Programming and change the line ringing at each ext. to No Ring.

Check and see if auto backup was active or if there were any recent manual backups - if so you should have a recent backup and can just restore that. Otherwise undo everything you did associated with outgoing access (you're dealing with incoming calls) and program the phones using central telephone programming and set the extensions to no ring or delayed ring (in case the v-mail is busy or fails).

I would wonder why you did out going restriction
and if you did #302 change that to no restriction
and turn off the ringers on all sets but recp.

Then make your night service group to ring with night key activated.

also b4 doing this did you replace the batteries in the ACS ??

This switch does not have a VM, and yes the batteries were replaced. Thanks for the quick replies!
