the DID rand is 1147-1166 the ext start at 101 when I call the DID# 1150 it goes to ext 115 and DID# 1147 it goes to 114. I tried DIDs to route to and ext and it did the same thing. route # 1147 to go to ext 101 and it goes to ext 114 and I know how to route numbers.Do I need to renumber ext#? Help I'm in a jam with one of my customers and need to get this taken care of THANKS Bob Surin
The easiest thing to do would be to change your extension numbers to match the DIDs. You can play with the routing tables
Match 1144 delete 4 digits add 101 etc... but you only really have 15 tables to use

you could also strip the first digit from the incoming digits and renumber the extensions from 147 to 166

let us know how many you are planning on renumbering and we will try to give you the most logical solution
I have 20 did but if I could route the 15 and renumber the other 5 I would like to do that. I tried to do what you said match 1147 delete 4 digits add 101 and it still goes to ext. 114 why is it doing this?
print out station 101 ,is it cvrd by 114 or called fowarded to it
No it's not
Bob,

Print out your PRI and PM me with it.

I should be able to offer some assistance.

I still think TTECH's idea of Matching Extensions to D-I-D's is best.

But there are other things that can be done.
It sounds like your expected digits are wrong. Your PRI printout should look something like this (without the dots though I had to put them it to format it correctly)

Make sure the first table you play with is table 1 and you set the expect digits for table 0 to 4

Dial Plan Routing Table

A Entry Number:..........0............1............2............3
A NtwkServ:.........Any service.....Any service
A Expected Digits:........4..............4...........0..........0
A Pattern to Match:...................1147
A Digits to Delete:.........0............4
A Digits to Add:.......................101..........0..........0
this is what i have expected digits is at 3 I have the main phone number on entry 1

Dial Plan Routing Table

A Entry Number:..........0............1............2
A NtwkServ:...Any service.....Any service
A Expected ......0...........
Digits:........0..............4...........0...
A Pattern to Match:...................1147
A Digits to Delete:.........0............4
A Digits to Add:.......................101..........0...
Will it matter if I dont have entry 0 in I have nothing there. should I change the other to expeted digits to 4?
Yes change it to a 4
Ok I move some of the stuff around and it is still doing the same thing going to ext 114 with number 1147 and going to ext 115 with 1154. I did what you said and nothing.here is how I have it now.

Dial plan routing table

Entry number.....0.........1..........2........

----------------------------------- ANNOTATION -----------------------------------
It looks a lot like they are only sending 3 digits.

As a test, I would renumber an extension to be 1147, and see what happens.

Let's see what that test does, and go from there.
I tried that and it would not let me renumber. The VM port are 7105-7108 soo I know that they can go in to the four digits but when I tried to take ext 147 and renumber it didn't work.
If you have an ext 114 it will not allow you change one to 1147. You would have to change 114 to something else to make the change.
