Using pagepal interface on ACS R6.0, customer had night ringer working through warehouse speakers via an extension. After extension entered, speakers kept ringing after call ended. Changed out pagepal and still doing the same thing. Am I hooking up the extension to the night ring terminals correctly, presently going from the extension port the the location cable and then taking the tip/ring back to the night ring on the pagepal. Hooking to the pagepal on the ringer and common terminals. Does it maybe need to go to the AC/DC and common terminals.

Help, Thanks,

Erik

Terminals 19 and 20 are correct. Disconnect the cable from the extenson port and plug in a single line phone or buttset. Does it ring the same way? If it does your problem is with the Partner system, either a programming or operational error.

After extension entered, speakers kept ringing after call ended. I have no idea what you are saying. What extension and how was it entered? What happens during the call? The night bell rings only after the call is ended? Does it operate normally when the CO lines ring?

They have it set up so that after hours employees can enter extension 22 and it will ring that extension in the warehouse and also through the speakers via the night ring terminals on the pagepal. What we were doing was calling that extension internally and after we dialed it and heard the extension and the speakers ringing we hung up, at that point the speakers kept ringing, didn't check the set also.

Yes, you need to see if the phone continues to ring also. That will point the finger in one direction or the other.
