I support a Partner System R5 with Transtalks. The Transtalks have been nothing but problems and the owners want them replaced. I thought about the 3910 but the owner wants to be able to handle 4 lines at minimum. So the 3910 will not suffice. Can anyone recommend something that can handle 4 lines and can work behind this Partner?

If not the owner is willing to rip it all out for something that will give them what they need. This is a residence for very wealthy owners and money isn't really an issue. I'm trying to avoid having to have wireless access pts. installed all over the house.

would a few 4 line cordless (yes, they make them) connected via individual extension being line 1, 2,3, etc, and the four lines showing on the cordless sets are in reality ext 23,24,25, etc.

I have done this at locations when more than one cordless was required, and the analog extensions were available on the phone system.

They have 5 incoming lines going into the system from the phone co. they need to have access to 4 of them and the 3910 only has 2.

they are fine just having their own ext.. i have plenty of ports for them.. i just need them to be able to handle 4 inc/outg calls.

Speaking as an Avaya dealer, rip it all out and sell them Panasonic. Cordlesses are much cheaper and they work.

Since Avaya dropped the ball and no longer has a cordless solution other than the 3910 that is the only alternative.

Been there, done that.

Mosey on over to the Panasonic forum and ask. Tell em' Hal sent you. Keep in mind that we don't discuss pricing here, but you can get recommendations on the equipment.
