Partner 18D Euro 2 style phones
I'm looking for a headset that would be wireless for a customer. I looked into the Plantronics CT10 ans CT12 and REALLY, REALLY like them, but they seem to be discontinued according to the plantronics web site. Any other alternatives. Thanks!
If you don't need the dialing capability, I use the Plantronics Voyager 500A with the lifter on my 18D. It's bluetooth instead of 900Mhz, so it also works with my cell phone.
Thanks, but the customer doesn't like the blue tooth headsets. Which lifter, The HL1 or the HL10?
If you go to the Plantronics site they have a compatibility search for the phone you are using. It will give you your choices for the Avaya 18D.

Yup already checked Plantronics. I know there are many more choices for an Avaya 18D than there search results portray. I will keep searching.
Thanks for the help

I wouldn't be too sure of that. Why would they not want to tell you about them?

Your probably right Hal. The ones I have installed and seen in action must be discontinued. Like this one:

My sales rep placed a call to Plantronics this week about the CT12. She was told that it was replaced with a CT14 which is not even on their website yet.
Go with the Plantrinics CS50, or if they are in a high frequency environemt a CS55. Were Plantronics dealers and have sold 1000's of these with Euro/Euro2 18D's.
Those are the best bang for the money on the market.
Oh yeah and you would want the HL10 lifter, the HL1 is the old school huge lifter.
AndrewWTI thanks for the input. I might go that route. I'll PM you if I need one. I just did a search on the Plantronics web site for compatibility with the CS50 and Partner 18D and it was not compatible.
I have used the CS50 w/HL10 on a Partner 18D before and it worked like a charm.
The point I was trying to make on my previous post is I don't believe the compatibility results from Plantronics. Point proven again. Thanks!
