If you have a phone with a message button, while on call you can press the message button, dial extension, use "select" soft key.

We almost always make a shortcode of #YXX (replace Y with first digit of extension numbers) with feature of voicemail collect. Or, if we're replacing another system, we'll make the shortcode match whatever that system required in order to lessen the learning curve.
It's A Office essential rel 7.?. I thought the voice mail collect was to retrieve your voice mails not sent them to a box. If I follow the first example the operator, while talking to the caller press the message button on her phone then the ext where the call is to be directed?

Code = #2XX
Feature = Voicemail Collect
Telephone Number = "#"2N
Line Group ID = 0

This will send a call directly to the mailbox of an extension that is in the 200 range. The quotation marks on the telephone number are important, don't omit them.

Or, yes, press the Message button while you are connected to the outside call. You will be prompted on the screen to dial an extension number. Dial it, you will see the User's name, press the "select" button, which will be the left-most soft key.
hitting the message button then the extension number worked fine, don't know why we would need a short code. Thanks guys
