Just had an old 206 card die.

I have a 206E card on the shelf.
Noticed the power supplies are different. Are they compatable?

The 206 has the green board with the on/off switch

New one is greyish tan

Oh Well

Tried swapping out anyway, got a funny smell.

Put original back and seems to be ok, no more funny smell

The old PS is dead so I couldn't take output voltage readings to compare. ( even if I did the voltages could be down by 50% so wouldn't be accurate.)
I guess after 20 years, time to upgrade them.

It had a long life.

Did you try refurb supply to see if the had one ?

actually I have a new green oard for 206 from Refurb supplies
,but no on /off switch.
