Hello all.

We recently replaced out the processor card on an aging ACS system at our client's home/office. We were able to work-thru most of their programming needs; they inherited the system, and weren't entirely sure of the original setup. The only thing that is stopping us now is:

The client was able to page over the phones (from ext. 11), and they could have two-way conversation WITHOUT pressing any buttons (going off-hook, pressing HF).
The extension RECEIVING the call must have their HFAI button turned on BEFORE the internal voice announced call comes to them. The Speaker will come on automatically and the microphone will become active, and then the caller disconnects so does the receiving extension.

If they don't have HFAI turned on BEFORE the voice announced call comes into them, the Speaker will come on automatically, but the receiving party will need to press either HFAI or SPKR to converse, AND they will have to press SPKR to end the call, otherwise their extension will remain off hook.
