1. Can incoming lines ring differently on different ext.
2. Can intercoms ring differently on different exts.

System > Telephony > Ring Tones
Create Ring Tone Plans ( I just create 8 Ring Tone Plans, 1 through 8, with Classic Tone 1 through 8, so they are always there are ready to be used)
On Incoming Call Route, set Ring Tone Override to Ring Tone Number 1 (if that is Classic Tone 1)
At the telephone set, "A" menu > Screen Sounds > Select > scroll down twice to Personal Ringing > Select > Scroll down to Pattern 2 > Save > Exit
Outside calls ring "normally", short ring, short silence, long ring, all the same tone
Internal calls ring long ring with normal tone and continues with long ring of higher pitched ring.
This only works with 14xx and 16xx sets
