My system did not update the time change. I'm using us.pool.ntp.org. automatic DST is checked. What else can I look for to update the time? Thanks
A couple of our systems ran out of dates in the DST profile. Change the Time Zone to something else and merge, then change it back to the correct time zone and merge.
What version Manager are you using Tommy? I'm currently running 11.0.4.7 and unfortunately your "hack" doesn't work - I have to update the schedule manually. (which is surprisingly time consuming!)
My DST file is 3/10/2013 2;00 AM-11/3/2013 2:00 AM (1:00) should I edit that field?
There will be about 10 entries in the that list and yes, you should edit the oldest ones.
To what, do I have to enter the start and stop DST for the next 5 years, and will that correct the time? Thanks
Also why isn't the time being set by us.pool.ntp.org. ?
Just trying to understand how the system gets it's time. The system gets it's time from the web site and the DST dates are the are the offset. Is that correct?
The NTP server provides UTC time, the device needs to figure out timezone and DST from somewhere else. This info is often provided to PCs via domain controller or DHCP but in the case of the IPO, the schedule has to be created manually.
Now I get it.. Thanks for the help, all went well..
