I am having trouble with getting trunk to trunk transfer to work. It is enabled and you can see the call come in on one trunk. It will transfer to another trunk and then just drop. This transfer is to virtual extensions cell phones etc. If there is anyone that has had this problem anything you can suggest would be greatly appreciated.

It is possibly the carrier. When a call is sent out another trunk, the Shoretel system sends the caller's CID as the outgoing caller ID so you can see who is calling. The problem now dows is that many carriers will only allow outgoing caller ID that matches a DID on the trunks. Some telco carriers wil drop the call when trying to send out a bad CID.

I belive now you can specify the BTN on the trunk group and have the presented as the outgoing caller ID. I am not 100% sure if it will effect other outgoing caller ID, if user's want to show thier DID.

You did not specify how you are making the transfer to the cell phone, but the other possibilty is if using route points, make sure that the route point extension is in the executive user group, or a user group that has permissions to make an outgoing call.
