I am new to the phone side of IT. I have an analog polycom (sound station 2) that is connected to a magix tapit system. Whenever the polycom receives calls its ok HOWEVER when it tried to call out it may or may NOT call. Power cycle seems to temporarily fix the issue but eventually it will come back.

Tapit is call accounting software and irrelevant to this issue.

What happens if you use your buttset? (if you have one)

I don't have a buttset but I can grab one. I'll update later. Thanks

sorry for getting back to this so late. The buttset came up fine. We brought in someone who changed how the phone was being routed.

Polycom is NOT used in a VOIP setting. He said that the polycom is sensitive (i.e don't let long details between dialing).
