Has anyone set up the email notification on the SBX. I'm having problems. I turn on email in pgm 127 for one extension. The customer has their own email server so I imput that ip address. I type in the email address of the person to get notification. I type in the smtp user id. I type in smtp password. I go to the phone and press trans/pgm +6+0 to enable. Try calling the extension and leave a message, I also have outcall notification on. It works fine but the email doesn't go through. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably gonna be a closed port issue on their server end if everythings set up correct in yours.

Check your Voice Mail COS (PGM 238) and make sure Email Notification is enabled. All stations are in COS 1 by default.

We did the same thing for the first customer of ours that wanted this feature. Spent 2 weeks going back and forth with the ISP and Vertical. It's all in the phrasing of the question and getting lucky that tech support has had their coffee in the morning.

CMM, thank you so much for your reply. That did the trick. I say again, I can't believe how valuable this forum is.
