I know it must be simple and it most likely called something else but where do you set the hold recall timer on the MBX? I looked all over, system timers, CO programming. Where is it? I think it is defeaulted at 30 secs.

Also I tried changing incoming ringing lines to be amber on sbx phones and still flash red. Anybody mess with this? Much easier for receptionist if they flash amber. Thanks for the help.

If anyone installing an MBX or SBX doesn't have a good grip on how to use the Adobe Reader X find function....well, good luck.

The Hold Recall Timer is called Hold Tone Timer...don't ask me why.

Thanks Derrick. Found it. Also they picked a great spot under tone tables and then tenant and then god forbid we call it hold recall timer. Anyway thanks. All in all I like the MBX just all this little stuff to get used to.

Does anyone actually know the correct on hold sequence the MBX uses? Thru testing we have discovered PGM 290 #55 is the hold recall time--the amount of time before the system alerts the station that put the call on hold. But what are #56 and 57 for? Pgm 222 #7--CO Recall Ring No Answer Timer is the amount of time the station that put the call on hold will ring before it is disconnected. We have discovered if you can change Pgm 169 -- Recall No Answer from Disconnect to Attendant--the Attendant phone will ring after the originating Station has timed out (Pgm 222 #7). But the originating station does not continue to ring along with the attendant phone. How do you get the originating station and the attendant phone to ring at the same time?

You can do it but I don't suggest it. The only way I know is to make both phones ring every time the attendant gets a call, doesn't matter where it came from, recall or original call. You use a call coverage button for the attendant on the extension.
